Jeffrey Miller, CFP®, CPFA
Senior Financial Advisor
Jeff brings to Cardan more than 20 years of experience in wealth management and financial markets analysis and has dedicated himself to understanding the needs and priorities of individuals and families.
As a Senior Financial Advisor who holds both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) professional designations, he focuses on providing Cardan clients with comprehensive financial advice and investment strategies designed to grow and preserve wealth.
Jeff started his career as an equities trader for a small firm in New York. He spent 15 years developing and implementing trading strategies to accommodate market conditions and navigate risk during volatile markets. More recently, Jeff was a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch, providing personalized attention and disciplined wealth-management strategies to individuals, families and corporate retirement plans.
Jeff graduated in 1994 from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and concentration in accounting. He has served his alma mater’s local alumni chapter board and also has been an active member of Rotary International and a coach of youth sports. Jeff and his family enjoy camping, hiking and skiing — and he enjoys talking physical fitness as much as financial fitness. Jeff has competed in several marathons, triathlons and ultra-marathons and counts finishing the Coeur D’alene Ironman Triathlon and the 2011 Leadville 100 Trail Race among his favorite athletic achievements.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in the United States, which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
