“More than anything, we must say thank you to all of our sponsors for allowing us to continue to serve Coloradans by providing them and their families with the resources they need as they are dealing with kidney disease,” said Danielle Otsuka, development director of NKF Colorado.
The National Kidney Foundation is the largest, most comprehensive and longstanding organization dedicated to the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease. In the United States, one in three people are at risk of kidney disease; 660,000 live with kidney failure; and 100,000 are awaiting a kidney transplant, including approximately 1,500 in Colorado, the foundation reports.
