Cardan Capital Partners is pleased to announce that co-founding partner Ross Fox has joined the board of directors of the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Depression Center at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Established in 2008, the Johnson Depression Center’s mission is to “improve the lives of people with depression and mood disorders through clinical excellence, innovative research, community programs and education.” The need is great. Consider these facts the Depression Center shares on its website:
• One in five adults experience mental illness.
• Twenty percent of adults in the United States have an anxiety disorder.
• One American dies of suicide every 13 minutes.
• Depression is the leading cause of workplace absenteeism in the United States.
The Depression Center uses multidisciplinary teams of mental health professionals to provide personalized and coordinated psychotherapy and medication management to adults, adolescents and children. We invite you to learn more about the Depression Center by watching the video below.
